Josephine attained her law degree from Manchester Metropolitan University and went on to complete her Masters at MMU. She has worked in the legal profession since 2019 and has previously worked at Garvins in New Claims and at Clarity Solicitors as a New Claims Handler and Paralegal.

Josephine chose to pursue a career in law because of its structured yet flexible nature, allowing room for argument and interpretation while still following established rules. She is motivated by the opportunity to make a real impact on people’s lives, listening to their stories and helping them seek justice.

Josephine’s approach to legal work is client focused. She prioritises understanding her clients’ needs and keeping them informed throughout their case, whether the news is positive or challenging. She focuses on practical and efficient problem-solving while ensuring she adheres to professional conduct principles, always acting in her clients’ best interests. She values teamwork and regularly collaborates with colleagues and other professionals to achieve the best outcomes.

Josephine was drawn to TDS Law because of its small and friendly team environment and the opportunity to take greater ownership of cases. She also values the exposure to different areas of law and the opportunity to learn from experienced colleagues.

In her work as a paralegal, Josephine enjoys the diversity of cases, the continuous learning involved, and the opportunity to help people through difficult situations. She takes a supportive approach with clients, listening carefully, explaining legal processes in clear and accessible terms, and managing expectations through honest and practical advice.

She brings to her role a strong work ethic, empathy, adaptability, and a collaborative mindset, always striving to provide respectful and effective support to both clients and colleagues.

Outside of work, Josephine enjoys going for walks and hikes, as well as reading and catching up on shows.
